Actions for Change is an organization established in 2016 with the aim to build the capacity of educators in order to contribute to a more sustainable society, where the full potential of individuals can be achieved through quality education.
The organization was born out of the need identified by a group of young professionals, educators and youth workers who want to contribute to an enriching and enjoyable process of learning for young and adult learners. We envision creating harmonious learning spaces for a peaceful and sustainable society where respect, cooperation, equality and proactivity co-exist. We want to offer and contribute to the personal and professional growth of individuals of different backgrounds.

Cultivating pro-social attitudes among young and adult learners
Our biggest project within the organization is the Training Center for Educators, which is a space dedicated to building the capacity of educators in order to equip them with the needed competences to be able to activate the full potential of their learners. It is a space in which promoters of education meet to share and to create learning spaces. Training Center for Educators is a space where teachers and youth workers’ experience is valued. This way, we want to create an active professional learning community of educators who can have access to qualitative and innovative didactical methods, activities and materials and to support their process of life-long-learning. We have already welcomed in our Training Center more than 130 teachers and educators whose needs are the core of our motivation in developing this project.

We are seeking to expand the financing mechanisms of the organization beyond the Erasmus+ programme and current private contributions.
