The European Forum for Freedom in Education is an NGO in the field of education.
EFFE is a forum in which all current issues concerning education at primary and secondary level can be discussed.
All members of effe stand for the right to education and to diversity and freedom in education.
– To safeguard the human dignity of each child and young person and promote the development of his or her individual qualities through freedom in education;
– To positively influence European education policy
– To increase active participation in the political process and strengthen the link between the European Union and its citizens
– To foster greater understanding about education in Europe
It establishes contact with politician and decision-makers;
It disseminates information through the press, numerous events and its publications about the significance of human rights in education, educational freedom and the need for diversity in educational systems.
Organisation of meetings, in the form of « colloquia »
EFFE regularly intiates and participates in projects at a European level. The MMS and SMS projects are just two examples of this.
EFFE regularly publishes texts and articles concerning freedom in education in its newsletter.
