As a warm-up before the EUROSFAT FORUM 2019, you are cordially invited to a Citizens’ debate with representatives and candidates of the main European Political Parties. EPP, S&D, Greens and ALDE parties will all be present in Bucharest, Romania and will expose, through their representatives, the vision of their party for the next 5 years, hoping to determine you to go to vote on May 26!

Through a lively debate with the Romanian civil society, we aim is to raise awareness of the Romanian citizens on the importance of their views and to show to them how their vote contributes to the future of Europe. Examples of the main highlights during the debate could be: how can the candidates convince the current young generation that EU is still relevant despite the current political trends of populism and nationalism? How does EU respond to actual societal challenges, such as climate change, safe societies, inclusive and innovative societies? Should the EU become a federation or just reform to do more or to do less?

On April 11, we invite you at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Romania premises to find out why your vote will shape the future of Europe directly from representatives of the main European political parties in the European Parliament.

But before that, we truly wish to hear your thoughts, so please let us know your questions in advance by filling in this form. The most interesting questions will be asked during the debate!
