At the end of June in Berlin, the activists of the European Democracy Network met for the second time to exchange and reflect on many important and timely topics : white privileges, digital security, positive psychology, right-wing populism and shrinking civic space in Germany…
One of the work sessions was dedicated to explore right-wing populism in Germany. Paulina Fröhlich from Das Progressive Zentrum and Kleiner Fünf, presented the participants with the concept of Radical Politeness, a strategy of conscious handling with right-wing populism to counteract hate and exclusion actively.
