Estonian Green Movement-FoE is a non-profit environmental organization. It was founded already in 1988, becoming one of the first environmental NGOs in Estonia that started to deal with wide range of environment and development issues. Today ERL is one of the most influential environmental groups in Estonia, raising environmental awareness among public, pushing government for strong policy and being quite visible in national media.
Our goal is to protect the environment of our country and the whole planet therein, implementing different measures to counteract further extermination of nature and seeking for new alternative methodologies to replace old unsustainable technology.
Awareness rising: different projects to share environmental information. Campaigns: organic food campaign, Fair Trade campaign. Efforts mainly to make Estonian forestry, agriculture, and energy policies and planning decisions more environmentally friendly. Our group enables all active people to improve their own thinking and be active members of the society
Estonian Green Movement is one of the largest grassroots environmental organisation in Estonia. We have more than 1000 members. We have very long experience working with environmental issues. We have many volunteers.
Estonian Green movement cooperates with anyone who wishes to stake into cleaner future, willingly involving volunteers. Our partners are: Friends of Earth, Coalition Clean Baltic, PAN-Europe, CEE Bankwatch Network, Taiga Rescue Network, Transport & Environment.
