Fundacja Strefa Zieleni (FSZ) / Green Zone Foundation is a Green political think-and-do tank promoting the green vision of the world on international, national and local levels actively pursuing its implementation in the areas connected to this vision. FSZ supports organizations and initiatives having the same goals, grassroot political activists and communities fighting for their rights and the environment.
Created in 2005 but not actif until september 2012, when affiliated to Polish Green Party. 2013 - publications “Game for Europe”, “10 years of Greens in Poland”, Congres Social Europe, conference “Energy transition in France , Germany and Poland” (partner: HBS), during COP 19 in Warsaw, as well as coordination of the March for the Climate and Social Justice (3500 participants) 2014 - Green Visions for Local Governance (European conference) (GEF and HBS partners), partner of campaign “Citizens control - guards of good energy”
Topics: Sustainable development; energy and climate changes; local democracy and city movements; social justice, human rights, gender and LGBTQ; corporate social responsibility; green economy; food and agriculture, better, more social and ecological Europe.
Think tank: organization of conferences and seminars, edition of books and flyers, elaboration of opinions of experts and reports, participation in specialized networks and working groups. Political action: in public consultations, petitions, campaigns, demonstrations, pickets, happenings, debates; participation in national and international political networks and initiatives. Education: trainings, educative projects and debates. Culture: organizing exhibitions, film screenings, workshops.
