The Union of European Federalists (UEF) is a nongovernmental and supranational organisation dedicated to the promotion of a democratic and federal Europe.
It consists of 20 constituent organisations and it has been active at the European, national and local levels for more than 50 years.
– bring together citizens who desire to work for the federal unity of Europe,
– act as a catalyst of democratic forces in Europe
– raise the awareness of the public about European issues and stimulate public debate
– spread the understanding of federalism and exercise pressure on the like-minded politicians
-the UEF organises public debates, seminars, info stands, campaign and street actions on key European issues
-lobbying actions, establishing platforms (on federalism) and initiating debates in the European and national parliaments
-diffusion of press releases and newsletter and other policy statements to the widest European public and actors.
