In 2007, the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation for Human Progress (www.fph.ch) sought to create a programme for European civil society. Since then, their initial work has led to the creation of the website citizensforeurope.eu in 2010, listing and developing citizen organisations, events and commitments.

Double Ponctuation (DP, www.double-ponctuation.com) is an agency specialising in written communication and project management. Led by Étienne Galliand, DP is also interested in contributing to initiatives of general interest and wants to support European federalist values. Firmly convinced that European construction is a visionary and novel form of regional integration, a veritable laboratory for what could one day be a system of world governance. It also supports citizen involvement, because the responsibility should not rest entirely on political decision-makers, as they need to hear what the citizens have to say. Having participated from the outset in the development of citizensforeurope.eu, Double Ponctuation is the Editor in Chief for the website.
