The co-workers and supporters of the ELIANT Alliance seek to make a civic contribution towards improving the quality of life and cultural diversity in Europe. In order to maintain the variety of choices in each country and make this effective throughout Europe, the umbrella organisations representing the initiatives of applied anthroposophy have come together to form the ELIANT Alliance. Together with partners who share similar objectives they seek to strengthen value focused and ecologically minded projects and cultural initiatives in Europe.
Cultural integration and the further development of Europe are matters close to our hearts. With its linguistic and ethnic diversity, Europe has developed historically into a uniquely differentiated region. Reflection on common spiritual roots is not only important for mutual understanding, but should also be reflected in the products which are shipped from Europe to the rest of the World.
As a non-governmental organization (NGO) active in civil society, we want to work with other organizations to create a regulatory framework of environmentally sound and value-based objectives:
We present the ELIANT Alliance at conferences, workshops and in meetings with other associations that pursue similar goals, as well as pursuing an active dialogue with members of the EU Parliament, the European Commission, and the Council of Europe.

The ELIANT Alliance provides an important source of information for citizens, institutions, initiatives and enterprises who are interested in furthering the development of European culture. It also provides an opportunity for direct civic participation through the process of petitioning the European Parliament.
The signatures collected for Eliant and the Alliance Charter have shown that we are supported by more than a million people across Europe.
