Your data will be used exclusively for the work of Citizens For Europe (CFEU). At CFEU we collect information about organizations ONLY and which you give to us by email and via the signup form on our Website.

This Website was built by and for civil society organizations, formal and informal, to share projects, positions, and news. The Website is not targeted at individuals. If your profile does not show any information related to the aims of CFEU, your profile will not be put online and information you entered will be deleted.

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

Most of your data is communicated to us by your active intervention or signup to the Website.

CFEU stores data deliberately and exclusively on servers in France which are subject to French and European data protection regulations. The Website is hosted on a physical server at OVH.

We take pride in respecting the privacy of our users. We maintain a strict privacy policy and take all appropriate measures to ensure that our servers prevent, to the extent possible, any unauthorized leak, destruction, loss, disclosure, use, access or modification of your data.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

We keep your data for the time necessary to accomplish the objectives pursued by your organization. If you choose to delete your account, all your data will be deleted accordingly.

We will then make every effort to take the necessary action as soon as possible.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA AND TO WHOM ARE THEY COMMUNICATED?

The Core Team of CFEU has access to it only to the extent necessary for processing your request and/or for fulfilling the objectives pursued. Each of them is subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality. In addition to the Core Team which has access to the content management system (CMS) runnnig behind this site, system administrators at the Charles Léopold Foundation pour le Progrès de l’Homme have access to the server for maintenance tasks.

DO WE TRANSFER YOUR DATA ABROAD?

We only transfer your data to a non-EU country if it provides a level of protection equivalent to what you can find in Europe. CFEU will not sell your information and guarantees not to disclose any of your personally identifiable information. We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information.

HOW TO RECEIVE OUR INFORMATION?

We only use your email address to offer you information about funding resources, events, and proposals according to your own indicated interests. By signing up, you agree to receive communication about events, positions, and proposals in one or more of our 5 different categories: DEMOCRATIC EUROPE, SUSTAINABLE EUROPE, GLOBAL EUROPE, INNOVATIVE & CREATIVE EUROPE, and EFFICIENT & FAIR EUROPE according to the tags you set for your organization during sign-up. WHAT IS OUR POLICY ON DATA CONCERNING MINORS?
