Building bridges between civic tech & associations (Paris)

Which digital tools can we use to mobilize disadvantaged citizens, defend their rights, and efficiently call out to decision-makers ?

Citizens for Europe and VoxPublic are jointly organising a one-day event on the 19th of October 2017 to collectively reflect on the topic of digital tools and their use to encourage the participation of marginalized populations.

With this event, we wish to foster the links between digital civic actors (« civic tech ») and organisations working in the field of social injustices. To this end, we propose to collectively brainstorm on the opportunities that participative digital tools  can offer to empower organisations working for more social justice and less discriminations.

This very participative one-day seminar will encourage dialogue, creativity and exchange of experiences.

When : Thursday 19th October 2017 9h-18h (coffee, lunch and drinks provided)

Where. Le Tank, 22 bis rue des Taillandiers, 75011 Paris

Who : The seminar is upon invitation only and will gather around 30 people, from the civic tech and association sectors.

More information on the event and its outcomes will be shared on the Citizens for Europe platform.
