Objectives

Our main mission is that the social human rights are adopted as enforceable by legal actions. Therefore we started a call for the ratification of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, ICESCR, which everyone can undersign on our website.

Main Activities

Four main projects in the moment:
– The call for the ratification of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, ICESCR
– The “Sozialer Menschenrechtspreis”, a social human rights award (5.000 Euro), which is granted annually.
– The “Notfonds für mobile ArbeitnehmerInnen”, an emergency fund for mobile workers from the eastern Europe countries in cooperation with the trade union project “Faire Mobilität” (funded by ESF e.a.), who need urgent help in special situations.
– Encouragement for the “Berliner Flüchtlingscamp”, a refugee camp in Berlin in the fight against the “Lager-system”.
