Impressions of Europe is first and foremost a place of exchange and confrontation of ideas
Impressions in Europe, association under the law of 1901, organises literary, philosophical or artistic events to promote European artists or authors.
Since its inception, many writers and actors of the book crossed paths: from Samuel Beckett to Adriaan van Dis or Nuno Júdice, from Enrique Vila-Matas to Joyce or Pierre Bergounioux, from Rick Bass to Leif Davidsen or Kristien Hemmerechts, from Einar Mar Gudmundsson to Rafael Chirbes, Jane Teller or Eduardo Lourenço.
