Latvian National Association for Consumer Protection (further LNACP) is founded in 1999 with main aim to assist consumers in Latvia with their rights protection what is set under the national legislation and European Union legislation acts. For this reason LNACP is using it’s network of 10 regional consumer organizations covering regions of Latvia.
The work of Latvian National Association for Consumer Protection (further LNACP) is related with education and information of consumers by using reviews of legislation, social campaigns, seminars, conferences, brain storming etc. LNACP work with several authorities and national social partners – Riga Energy Agency; Consumer Rights Protection Centre; NGO Alliance in Latvia; Financial Capital Market Commission; ECC network organizations; EFSA contact point in LV.
LNACP was been conducting a projects and national researches investigating energy, financial. enforcement, alternative dispute resolution, digital, medicine, related issues.
LNACP is a member of the European Consumer Organization (BEUC).

The long-term activities forsee to incomplete exchange of information, improve information channels, to motivate consumers be involved in activities of civil society related with consumer rights.
