KADIN VE GENC GIRISIM MERKEZI (Women &Youth Entrepreneurship Center ) (KGEM), Non-governmental organisation, founded in 2008, in Ankara, TR. European Voluntary Service sending and coordinating accredited organisation since 2013.
K-GEM operations can be summarised as; national and international cooperation for education, community based development and knowledge management, project and programme development, monitoring and evaluation activities with a specific focus on women, youth, entrepreneurship and sustainable development topics. K-GEM have actively involved in projects and activities, such as project development for Youth mobilities, environmental and rural field, training courses, international cooperation, networking, social activities and contribution to reports of international and national institutions, such as government institutions, UN and EU, in its focus areas. We are experimented in project implementation, have developed, submitted, won, implemented and finalised more than 5 projects.
We are Member of ECWT European Centre for Women and Technology.
To empower Youth and Women using our Project Knowledge, management and dissemination capacities, expertise.
K-gem is Erasmus Higher Education Training Consortium Coordinator accredited by Turkish National Agency . Actually we are coordination Erasmus activities of 5 Universities in Turkey. We are also EVS sending and coordination CSO, supported since now the Volunteering experience of more than 200 youth. Our operations can be summarized as; national and international cooperation for education, community based development and knowledge management, project and programme development, monitoring and evaluation activities with a specific focus on women, youth, entrepreneurship and sustainable development topics. Since the Syrian crises, we are also focused on how to solve integration problems of youth migrants.
We are in Erasmus partnership with many hosting organization over Europe. Our University Consortium Partners are: Uludağ, Maltepe, OsmanGazi, Bartın and Siirt Universities.
