Objectives
  1. To expand governments’ and communities’ ability to solve public problems more effectively;
  2. To foster more inclusive and deliberative governance around the world;
  3. To share the good practices of well-thought and well-designed collective intelligence.
Main Activities

1. WEBINAR: Smarter Together’s webinars are designed for a large audience to disseminate the good practices of Collective Intelligence. Each webinar takes concrete examples, methodologies and tools applied to a public problem.

2. MASTERCLASS: Smarter Together designs and organizes tailored masterclasses for actors involved in policy making, advocacy, research and social innovation. In 1 or 2 day-format, experts and facilitators work with the participants to apply Collective Intelligence’s methods to their own work and challenges.

3. KNOWLEDGE CREATION & DISSEMINATION: Smarter Together produces content adapted to policy makers and civil society actors to help them address public problems. Smarter Together’s platforms (website, social media, newsletter) put forward methods and stories of Collective Intelligence in different forms: articles, video interviews of academic and policy experts & podcasts.

4. NETWORK BUILDING: Smarter Together’s events gather a community of experts concerned and interested in Collective Intelligence for democracy and governance.

Strengths
  1. Our network: 70 contributors to The Routledge Handbook of Collective Intelligence for Democracy and Governance published in June 2023 that present collective intelligence’s principles and methods through 40 case studies from all around the world.
  2. Our expertise: thanks to our wide network of experts, we are able to apply Collective Intelligence’s methods to many important public challenges, ranging from climate change, mobility, protection of environment to citizens’ participation, social justice, and more.
