After a first preparatory meeting, representatives of 18 civil society networks met in Milan on 11-12 May 2018, under the management of the European Movement Italy, to discuss about the perspective of european democracy, the european participatory budget and the respect of the rule of law in EU and member countries.
They reached a common point of view on the need to protect and enhance European values, secure coherence between EU actions and values as fixed in the EU Treaty, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and UN agreements and Treaties. These are the conclusions of the meeting.
