What do you want to achieve with this project?

A lack of media independence and resources, combined with a failure in communicating scientific consensus to the general public has clouded environmental policy aims.

The aim of 4 freelance journalists is to publish a story we believe will interest Europeans – particularly younger generations concerned about the climate crisis and EU efforts to address it.

Our goal: to offer accessible facts to MPs, MEPs and citizens.

By the end of 2022 the EU taxonomy will either be a game-changing instrument which will help the EU reach its net zero target by 2050, or a Regulation that lacks the credibility it needs to foster change.

If we manage to reach the campaign goal within 20 days, we will fact-check the statements made by 7 EU leaders arguing for the inclusion of nuclear in the EU Taxonomy.

Do you need help to put your idea into practice?

Sharing the link to the campaign website with CfE environmental NGO members and asking them to spread the word/donations to the campaign to ensure success.

What are the details of the project?

We hope that our investigations will lead to a clarification of the facts surrounding nuclear energy and sustainable activities and foster debate.
